Job Description:
As the Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our cabinet production shop. You will ensure that our high standards of craftsmanship are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your role will involve coordinating with the production team, overseeing the workflow, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the production team, providing guidance and support
Monitor the production process to ensure quality and efficiency
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues
Train and mentor new employees
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or similar supervisory role in a woodworking or cabinetry environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of modern cabinet construction techniques and materials
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
Proficiency in using woodworking machinery and tools
