WAREHOUSE & PACKAGING TEAM SUPERVISOR – FULL TIME
American Pet Diner, Inc. in Buhl, Idaho is currently recruiting and accepting applications for Warehouse Team Supervisor (with Forklift experience preferred)
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is Full-Time, 7:00am to 3:30pm M-F. Supervise Shift: train, and motivate team members. In addition to operating a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, candidates will be performing warehouse labor type tasks that include but are not limited to stacking and palletizing of pet food cases and lifting 50lb. bags and general clean-up of the facilities.
Qualified applicants need to possess the following skills and background requirements:
Must have (2) two years’ experience in supervision and warehouse environment
Ability to lead, supervise, train, and motivate people in a positive environment.
Ability to stand on feet for 8-9.5 hours per shift
Minimum of one year forklift experience (sit-down)
Ability to learn how to operate large forklift to move blocks of hay
Repetitive motion and movement - bending and stooping
Repetitive motion and movement of hands, arms, and head
Ability to lift and move 100lb hay bales, unassisted
Ability to work in various temperature conditions
Adhere to company attendance and handbook standards
Comply with company safety policies and regulations
Overtime and Saturday shifts are rare but expected occasionally
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Must be 18 years or older
$17 and up – Depending on Experience (DOE)
