Farm Truck Mechanic

Hansen Farms is a family owned and operated farming and dairy operation. We have a small team that works well together, but the right individual would have a lot of independence working by yourself and with another person when needed. We are looking for a mechanic to diagnose and perform work on our fleet of Semis and 10-Wheel Trucks. We do not do engine work in our shop, so work focuses on road safety items such as brakes, lights, and repairs to frames, axles, beds, etc. We are looking for someone who can help execute a preventative maintenance program as well as make sure trucks are ready for spring and fall. We expect you to come with your own tools, but we offer a tool incentive every year so you can keep your tools updated and expand what you have. Pay is negotiable and depends on experience. Paid vacation is available after the first year. A vehicle will be provided for work and can be negotiated for the commute as well. Must be willing to work outside in fields when needed, but most work will be done in the shop that you get to organize and manage.
