Cryogenic Services Technician

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Cryogenic Service Technician position. Cryogenic Services Technician performs installation and maintenance on cryogenic systems throughout the Norco area. This includes fill plants with pumping & vacuum systems, food processing plants, electronic manufacturing plants, weld shops, hospitals etc. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:This is a hands on position requiring a high level of mechanical aptitude and wrench turning level of expertise.  Installation and maintenance of cryogenic and compressed gas systems at Norco production facilities and customer sitesPerform calibration of gauges, thermometers, and flowmeters at Norco production facilities and customer sitesPerform annual inspections that include hospitals, metalworking shops, cylinder fill plants, mines, food manufacturing plants, etc.Perform site surveys of potential customers for compliance with specificationsRegular travel in Norco service truck that may include being out of home base up to 4 nights per week, as needed. Some travel is necessary, up to 30% of the time.Maintain work area in a neat and clean mannerPerform other tasks as assigned or necessaryWill be performing verifications of new medical gas systems.Annual inspections of existing systems.Reviewing plans for NFPA 99 compliance in layout and equipment.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance at Norco customers, Manifolds, Vacuum, Med Air, etc.Training in regards to verification protocols
