Position Summary:

As an Entry-Level Quality Control Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the QC department in inspecting, testing, and documenting precast concrete products throughout various stages of production. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to build a career in construction materials testing or manufacturing quality assurance. This position is perfect for someone hungry for a career, and this position opens the door to so many more opportunities.

The position requires the employee to perform a wide variety of Quality Control functions including, but not limited to, the following:

Perform quality testing of self-consolidated plastic concrete

Temperature

Air Entrainment

Unit Weight/Yield

Spread/Visual Stability Index Prepare test cylinders for compressive strength testing Perform testing for compressive strength

Perform testing on aggregate (Moisture)

Perform daily pre-pour and post-pour inspections

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma Experience in a construction setting

Experience in Quality Control or similar role

Ability to understand units of measurement and translate them to production

Basic computer skills

Ability to problem-solve and organize

Strong communication skills in a team environment

Good math skills

Qualifications:

Team Player

Ability to handle physical workload:

Lift up to 60lbs

Extended duration on foot (up to 8 hours)

Stand, walk, crouch, kneel, stretch, and claim for extended periods.

Repetitive use of hand tools and power tools
