Location: Job opportunities in Moscow, Lewiston, Pullman, Clarkston!
Wage: Starting at $25.00+/Hour (D.O.E.)
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair work on trucks and heavy equipment including: oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engine malfunctions and mechanical issues.
- Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot problems in diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues with diesel engines.
- Order necessary parts for maintenance and repairs and maintain accurate repair records.
- Stay updated with industry standards and adhere to training regulations.
- Drive/Transport trucks as needed to drop off locations.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Must be a diesel mechanic qualified for maintenance/service work on trucks.
- Completion of a diesel mechanic program and 2-3 years of experience preferred but not required!
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairs for hydraulic systems including brake inspections.
- Valid CDL B (minimum) with Air Brake Endorsement highly preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
