Backyard Harvest's AmeriCorps VISTA: LC Valley Coordinator position is focused on program development in Lewiston, ID, and Clarkston, WA, as well as the surrounding communities in Nez Perce and Asotin counties. Backyard Harvest is excited to increase our operations and impact in an area with unique produce and an extended growing season. The LC Valley Coordinator will begin focusing on relationship-building, donor cultivation, and outreach to build the visibility and reach of our programs. This work will include community engagement, grant writing, volunteer recruitment, program development, and leading volunteers in gleaning produce and distribution. This is a great opportunity to learn more about food security and the local food system.
