The starting rate for this position is $16.08 an hour. The rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. Summary The Unit Secretary is an essential member of the Patient Care Team providing indirect patient care and clerical support. Unit Secretary for PHP provides support in facilitating patient referrals, registration, admissions, and scheduling. Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Previous Medical Office experience preferred.
Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Email/Calendars, etc.)
Ability to work well in high stress situations.
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
The ability to deal with unexpected issues and come up with solutions quickly.
Follow directions accurately and timely.
