Job Title: Fleet Mechanic Level 3Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Fleet Mechanic to help service and maintain a fleet of trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment. As a fleet mechanic, you will perform regular preventative maintenance, inspect fleet equipment for compliance and functionality, ensure all moving parts are operational, and troubleshoot issues while participating in repairs. This role requires accurately interpreting repair manuals and work orders, responding to roadside calls for disabled vehicles as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, it is essential to follow all company safety rules and regulations.Responsibilities
Perform regular preventative maintenance on fleet trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
Inspect all fleet equipment for compliance and functionality.
Ensure all moving parts are well-greased and operational.
Troubleshoot issues and participate in repairs.
Accurately interpret repair manuals and work orders.
Respond to roadside calls for disabled vehicles as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
Essential Skills
Mechanical and diesel experience.
Fleet maintenance and service experience.
Ability to diagnose and repair brakes.
Experience with mechanical repairs, hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and transmissions.
Troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to use basic hand tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Authorized to work in the US.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Experience in preventative maintenance and diagnosing diesel engines.
