As a Safety Associate, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our safety programs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and promoting a proactive safety mindset among our employees. You'll work closely with various departments to identify potential hazards, develop solutions, and deliver engaging safety training.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety policies and procedures.

Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.

Help organize and deliver safety training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels.

Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection results.

Research and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute to ongoing safety improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.

1 year of experience in a safety-related role, preferably but not required in a Transportation, construction, or similar industrial setting.

Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and other relevant safety standards.

Expertise in the use of Samsara and its integrations

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
