Concrete Finisher Responsibilities:
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters. Patch voids and use saws to cut expansion joints.
Concrete Finisher Duties:
Placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete in engineering and
construction projects.
Setting the concrete forms, ensuring they have the correct depth and pitch.
Place concrete either directly from the concrete wagon chute, concrete pump, concrete skip or wheelbarrow.
Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
To finish trowel, broom, sweat and stamped for outdoor and interior concrete. Should know how to use power trowels and riders.
Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete and waterproof or restore surface.

Individual responsible for designing forms, framing, building, installing and repairing structures, fixtures and other items using different types of materials including wood and steel.
Concrete Carpenter Duties:
Individual may use saws, drills and sanders to repair and erect structures.
Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete or pavement.
Place, consolidate, and protect case-in-place concrete or masonry structures.
Position, join align, and seal structural components such as concrete wall sections and concrete forms.
Rake, shovel, vibrate and compact cement or soil materials and spread into form or rake on or under floors.
Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
