Mickelsen Marble & Granite, locally owned and operated since 1972 here in Idaho Falls, are looking to hire one dependable, motivated individual to assist in granite fabrication and installation.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to following applicable safety rules and procedures.
Working in the granite fabrication shop will require a mask fitness evaluation (this ensures you are healthy enough to wear a respirator). The work will be mostly in our fabrication shop learning to polish and edge material safely, cut and polish sink holes with training. Learning to safely move the material around the shop and loading and unloading on A frames forklift qualifications are helpful to get trained and certified to operate a lift vehicle. When not fabricating duties included helping our lead installer install. Transportation is provided to and from job sites in a company vehicle.
Specific qualifications include:
Ability to Arrive on time daily.
Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by Mickelsen Marble & Granite to operate forklift equipment
Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shift
Ability to consistently lift and carry 75-100 lbs. with assistance
Our work week will consist of M-F 7am to 3-5pm daily, so 8–10-hour days Saturdays and Sundays we are closed.
Payroll is done weekly, so paid every Fridays for the prior week work.
Major holidays we are closed.
