Mickelsen Marble locally owned and operated since 1972 here in Idaho Falls are looking to hire a dependable, motivated individual to assist in cultured marble fabrication.
We offer paid training as you learn to help manufacture cultured marble daily assisting our lead like as a helper. Manufacturing cultured marble would consist of being in the shop preparing bars for molds, cleaning off tables, preparing tables for manufacturing, moving around tables on a roller conveyer threw all the different steps of manufacturing. The cultured marble is gel-coat finished like a car, so we do conduct a mask fitness evaluation (this ensures you are healthy enough to wear a respirator). A half mask respirator is required when gel-coat is being sprayed and when the marble is being poured into the molds. Occasionally we may also cross train into other areas as the need arises, so ability to learn other areas such as if a installer helper calls in we may barrow your assistance installing the cultured marble for a day which would just result in some overtime and learning another area.
Specific qualifications include:
Ability to Arrive on time daily.
Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shift
Ability to consistently lift and carry 50-75 lbs. with assistance
The manufacturing work week will consist of M-F 6 am to 2 to 3 pm daily, so 8 to 9-hour daily with Saturday and Sunday we are closed.
Payroll is done weekly, so paid every Fridays for the prior week work.
Major holidays we are closed.

Starting wage of $13.50 to $14.00 an hour, otherwise depending on experience and willingness to work. After a couple months we will reevaluate your performance and adjust wages based on attitude, timeliness, and performance.
