We are hiring a Camp Manager to run our remote riverside outpost on the legendary South Fork of the Snake River. This isn’t your average summer gig — it’s for someone who thrives off-grid, loves riverside BBQs, can handle jet boats, and enjoys making guests feel at home in the wilderness.
From June through September (maybe October if we stretch the season), you’ll be the heart of a wild, beautiful, and dialed-in backcountry camp experience.
Your Day Might Look Like This:
Navigate a jet boat upriver at sunrise
Prep hot coffee, eggs, and bacon for hungry anglers
Keep tents tight, gear clean, firewood stocked, and cocktails cold
Grill up a riverside dinner while sharing stories under the stars
Help guests and guides settle in after a full day of fishing
Fall asleep to the sound of the river
The Essentials – What You’ll Do:
Camp Setup: Load, transport, and organize gear, food, and supplies
Cooking: Grill dinners, cook hearty breakfasts, prep sides, mix drinks
Jet Boat Ops: Safely run and maintain a jet boat in varying conditions
Camp Care: Maintain tents, outhouses, cooking areas, and supply caches
Support: Help guides and guests with gear, comfort, and logistics
Hospitality: Make guests feel welcome, cared for, and at ease in the wild
Safety: Keep camp clean, safe, and in compliance with ranch standards
Must-Haves:
CPR/First Aid/AED certified
Jet boat experience on moving water
Campfire cooking & outdoor meal planning chops
Can lift 50+ lbs, work long shifts, and stay upbeat
Hospitality mindset & strong communication skills
Self-reliant, resourceful, and tidy
Nice-to-Haves:
Camp maintenance or basic carpentry skills
Wilderness First Aid (WFR a plus)
Fly fishing knowledge or experience in the outdoor/lodge industry
