Natural Spring Ice - Assistant Warehouse Manager
Job Overview:
We are looking for an assistant warehouse manager who wants to help grow our company. We are new to Idaho Falls and are developing our warehouse where we make bagged ice and offer cold storage. Our company is tight-knit and a great environment to work in. As we grow, so will you and we are looking for someone with an ambitious nature who wants to see that growth happen.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist Manager with daily routines, overseeing employees and projects
- Manage daily deliveries and shipments
- Organize driver routes and fill in when necessary
- Assist Manager with hiring new employees
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Assumes certain management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager
- Communicate with Manager when problems arise
Job Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma, Associates Degree or Bachelor Preferred
- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs.
- Able to be on feet for most of workday
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Experience in a warehouse or cross-docking operations preferred
- Availability to work full time, flexible schedule with Saturday availability
- Must be able to operate forklift and machinery
