Interdisciplinary collaboration with a growing team of 7 Intensivists, with a model of “mandatory consult” to the intensivists for every patient in Critical Care.
2 Cardiothoracic surgeons and 4 Neurosurgeons with privileges.
One of the busiest heart centers in the Pacific Northwest including a Cardiac Cath Lab, EP lab and IR lab offering progressive industry technology including TAVR procedures.
Staffing 1:1 – post-TPA, CRRT, IABP, Impella and immediate post open heart recovery with over 350+ open heart surgeries per year.
Launching a brand new ECMO program using the Centrimag cardiac assist device with robust training, education and ongoing support with our dedicated ECMO Program Coordinator.

As a Critical Care RN, you will:
Assists physician during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patient and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills
Performs a variety of tasks
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Performs other related duties as assigned
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
To be successful in this role, you will need:
CCRN, CNOR, or a minimum of 1 year experience in Critical Care
Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing program
RN with less than 3 years’ patient-facing nursing experience at time of hire are required to be enrolled in a baccalaureate (or higher) degree program in nursing within 1 year of employment, with completion within 3 years of hire
RN with at least 3 years’ patient-facing nursing experience at time of hire, ADN or diploma required; BSN or higher preferred
State of Idaho Registered Nurse OR licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the “multistate privilege to practice” compact with Idaho prior to start date
ACLS Required
BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation
