JOB SUMMARY: The Refrigeration Assembler will help keep our production on schedule by assembling commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. This person will need to understand all phases of the production process and quickly learn the skills to perform each phase while delivering a high-quality product. The Refrigeration Assembler will work daily to create a quality product for our customers, work efficiently and maintain a safe work environment. WHAT JTS OFFERS:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material, according to drawings or templates, using calculators, squares, and measuring tapes.
Assemble and fit prefabricated parts to form subassemblies.
Use relevant machines and tools.
Determine project requirements, including scope, assembly sequences, and required methods and materials, according to blueprints, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED required.
At least 2 years' experience in manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
Brazing and welding experience preferred.
Refrigerant handling certification a plus.
HVAC & R field service and/or construction experience a plus.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.
Have reliable attendance. Be responsible and dependable at work.
Ability to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to work from 10’ ladders.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to manage time and tasks independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of the manufacturing industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
