Next Level Technician is seeking Cable Technicians with strong rack and stack experience for a project in Boise, Idaho. This is a great opportunity to join a structured team on a well-organized job site with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term, full-time position.
Position Overview for Cable Technician:
As a Cable Technician, you’ll play a key role in the installation of structured cabling systems. This includes pathway construction, rough-in work, telecom room build-outs, and cable terminations. We’re looking for detail-oriented technicians who take pride in clean work and precise execution.
Key Responsibilities for Cable Technician:
Perform rack and stack of network equipment
Install, route, label, and terminate structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber)
Build out telecommunications rooms and infrastructure pathways
Ensure all work meets industry standards for safety and quality
Follow site-specific safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements for Cable Technician:
Minimum 1 year of experience in structured cabling or construction-related work
Proven rack and stack experience required
OSHA 10 Certification required (must be valid/current)
Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or with a team
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Schedule Info for Cable Technician:
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
Possibility of working 4x10s (four 10-hour days)
No overtime available on this project
