TKC Fleet Service LLC, located in Southeast Boise, is seeking a hard working individual for a Heavy Truck Mechanic position. We are looking for a self-starter who can complete time sensitive job tasks with minimal supervision. We are an established company with 10+ years in the valley.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repairing heavy trucks
- Repairing semi-trailers
- Oil changes
- Miscellaneous engine repairs
- Welding
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have a working knowledge of mechanics
- Willing to work from mobile service truck
- Be a team player with good communication skills
- Good verbal, written and computer skills
- Must have own hand tools
- Ability to diagnose and trouble electrical, brake, and fuel systems on heavy trucks
- Must provide valid driver’s license and a acceptable driver's record (Class A CDL a plus)
- Ability to regularly lift and manipulate heavy objects (up to 70 pounds)
- Willingness to work outdoors during inclement weather
