We are currently seeking a Foreman to join the Falvey’s Earthworks team. Our company takes on a variety of projects encompassing all aspects of site construction and landscapes. This is an ideal management position for a career-minded individual looking for industry and project variety.
Overview:
Team Foreman is a working supervisor position. He/She will be the key person for the completion of assigned projects, and will over see daily operations of site work to ensure projects are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications:
High School diploma, diploma in skilled trade, or equivalent
Current, valid driver’s license
Class A CDL preferred
Minimum two years’ experience as a laborer in the construction industry
Will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines
Excellent organization and leadership skills
Ability to communicate and report effectively
Ability to read and thoroughly understand plans and specifications
Responsibilities:
Organize, manage, and lead all team members provided to meet daily and long-term project goals
Manage and maintain active job site. Ensure all machinery and tools on site are kept in safe, proper working order. Communicate and coordinate issues and maintenance needs with mechanics
Schedule and work alongside subcontractors
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, architects, government officials, subcontractors, and co-workers
Ensure all safety precautions are implemented and quality standards are met
Salary and Benefits:
Signing Bonus
Hourly wage ranges form $30-$35/hour DOE.
