Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with expertise in both gasoline and diesel engines. This position involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are operating safely and efficiently. The Automotive Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

We perform all vehicle repairs from oil changes to alignments and cab off engine repairs.

Diesel experience is a plus

We offer an hourly wage with bonus opportunities based on performance.

Our schedule is Monday thru Thursday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm

Hourly pay is based on experience, starting at $27 and up to $50

Duties include but not limited to

Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.

Interpret automotive schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues.

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems.

Repair or replace components as necessary, including diesel engine repairs when applicable.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders.

Skills

Experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and diagnostics.

Familiarity with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.

Ability to read and interpret schematics for various automotive systems.

Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers.

ASE Not Required
