QLytix, Inc. is looking for a video content developer who is passionate about consumer electronics technology. This position will work with our video production team to produce content in support of a corporate YouTube channel with over 500,000 subscribers worldwide.
Technical Experience:
Experience as a video editor, including a high-level working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
Must have experience in all aspects of video post-production: graphics, audio, editing, and encoding
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
A strong interest in computing and printing hardware, consumer electronics, and related technologies is preferred
Required Skills:
Ability to produce commercial-quality video content for clients’ social media channels and corporate websites
Ability to use style guides and interpret corporate usability standards
Ability to work independently and collaborate with other team members and clients
Ability to proactively communicate needs and issues to your manager
Ability to work outside of regular business hours to meet critical deadlines
Ability to prioritize tasks on multiple assignments
Ability to work under pressure of deadlines

Ability to maintain consistent organization of video assets
Responsibilities:
Responsible for using step guides in script form to create a required shot list for the video shoot
Responsible for taking projects from raw footage to draft, implementing feedback changes, and final output
Responsible for keeping the manager updated on the progress of projects
Responsible for using client-based project management tools and resources to track projects through to completion
Responsible for client interaction on project change requests and final deliverables

Works well in a team environment and has good interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
You must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications
Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The Fine Print:
The position is based in Boise, Idaho, and is not transferable
This position will require occasional work outside of regular business hours
This position is project-based and will require you to work 50% in the Boise office and 50% at home.
