Arena Security serves various functions depending on the event and staffing need. This position helps create a positive guest experience by helping to maintain safety, security, and consistency throughout all events. Adhere to specific event guidelines as outlined by the MOD during briefing. Monitor arena to identify potential hazards or situations and communicate these potential hazards to the MOD & Lead CMS. Facilitate a secure load in for all events: this includes but is not limited to:Monitoring Walk Thru Metal DetectorsUse of Individual Security Wand for guests when needed.Performing thorough bag checksDiligently monitor and observe backstage areas, crowds, and tunnels for potential issues. Provide security for performers and/or players depending on the event. Watch for house policy violations such as underage drinking, smoking, etc and report them to the Lead CMS and the Guest Relations Manager. Must have 1-2 years previous security experience working with the public in an event type setting or customer service space. law enforcement or military security also qualifies.Must be willing to engage with patrons in difficult situations when necessary.Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.Occasionally assist with set up/ tear down (chair set)Will always have support of CMS and BPD (if necessary)5.
