SYSTEMS ENGINEER Performs IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs in support of one or more functional areas such as manufacturing, materials, marketing, accounting, or human resources. Support may include senior desktop specialist projects, network administration, network security, and/or support of various operating systems. Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems, database or utilities software. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with automated systems. Analyzes, designs, acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Plans, designs, acquires and implements telecommunications voice/wire systems. Follows prescribed methods in carrying out job responsibilities to ensure adherence to information security standards. At higher job levels, may contribute to the development, testing, evaluation or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set.
Associate Systems Engineer • KNOWLEDGE: Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. • JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
