As a short term rental host, days will not be monotonous. Managing guests and cleaners. Cleaning and preparing properties for guests. And dealing with unexpected issues that arise are all part of the job.
This role will be a full-time position with flexible hours. The expectation is for 30-40 hours a week depending on the workload and any extra events that come up.
Compensation: $22-27/h
Responsibilities:
Manage an Airbnb (possibly other platforms) account with 13+ listings
Write and schedule automated messages
Respond to all guest questions in a timely manner.
Review guests, read feedback and make improvements based on feedback
Own cleanings and turnovers for 13+ listings.
Personally take as many cleanings as you can and schedule cleaners for the others. Expect at least 2-3 cleanings on some days.
Manage cleaning contractors to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain a project planning tool (like basecamp) with current projects, tasks and assignments.
Maintenance issues will come up frequently. You'll be expected to take care of small issues and address any large issues by scheduling a professional.
Handle other tasks that will come up along the way while running an Airbnb.
Restocking supplies and gifts
Ordering and replacing furnishings
Safety equipment checks
Write listings for new or tired listings
Etc
Own the guest experience
Collaborate with owners to brainstorm and plan new Airbnb experiences for our guests.
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable car to travel between properties in the Boise Valley
Recommended Experience:
- Cleaning experience
- Hospitality experience
- Property management experience
