Pageant Virtual Assistant

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated part time (maybe only 5-10 hours a day) Virtual Assistant to provide administrative support for the pageant industry. This role is ideal for someone who can communicate daily and pick up tasks to do as they come in, and is keen on contributing to the smooth operation of pageant events and management as well as research, social media, phone calls, Canva work and emails!

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support: Handle day-to-day administrative tasks: which is sending out pre-done emails, updating out Excel Google docs. It may also include Social Media updates and creating Canva documents.

Client Communication: Act as a point of contact for clients. Follow up on inquiries, call delegates to remind them of photo deadlines, ad deadlines and send out sponsor information.

Invoicing: Very limited invoicing. Prepare & send out pre-done invoices, and very infrequent follow up with clients regarding outstanding balances.

Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of pageant events, including liaising with vendors and participants, helping arrange flowers, venue help if needed but no experience necessary on even coordination. You will learn as you go!

Requirements:

Experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a similar administrative role, or strong willingness to learn.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

Canva knowledge to make flyers is very helpful and wanted, but Google docs and email capabilities are a must.

Writing skills necessary, good grammar and clear speaking voice necessary.

IG posting and Instagram familiarity is also a plus!

Must love internet research!

A keen interest in modeling, the beauty or pageant industry is a plus.

Work Hours & Benefits:

This is a remote position with flexible hours, though increased availability during key event times may be required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the General Director and gain invaluable experience in the pageant sector, customer service, and event management field.
