This position requires experience in medical insurance billing.
The position will be 35-40 hours per week.
This position includes: Interaction with and support of patients for help with insurance questions; financial consultation and explaining insurance benefits to patients; preauthorization of procedures; correlation with all staff members for patient insurance questions and information; additional support tasks such as scheduling, insurance appeals; authorizations; etc. Scheduling new patients, gathering records for patient evaluation.
This position requires the following skills and qualifications:
Preferred Skills: Experience with Medicare and government insurance
Required Skills:
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
-Knowledge of medical codes and terminology
-Good knowledge of computer systems and troubleshooting: server, networks, etc.
