-Fit-Up Production Technician-

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is driven to learn new processes/procedures and can easily collaborate with our existing team. We are willing to train the right candidate, but a growth mindset is a must for this active role.

SUMMARY: Our fit-up plumbing technicians assist in the manufacturing process for a variety of chemical blending and distribution equipment. This position is responsible for being detail-oriented and must demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

- Must be mechanically inclined.

- Must be able to read, comprehend and follow directions.

- Can read and follow instruction procedures.

- Must be able to read a tape measure.

- Identifies a measurement on a print (fraction and decimal) and can find the same measurement on a tape measure.

- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in the electrical/controls department and how to safely use them.

- Can identify the hand and power tools used in the department.

- Understands the proper use and risk/hazard factor of each tool used.

- Experience in construction such as framing, roofing etc.

- Experience in the automotive industry such as tinting window, pinstriping etc.

- Experience in manufacturing/production a plus but not required.

- Available to work 40+ hours a week including weekends as needed.

- Must be able to lift 40lb, bend, kneel, stand for 8 hours or more a day.

- Must be able to work in a team environment and willing to cross train in other departments.
