HORSE RANCH ON LARGE ACREAGE SEEKS A RELIABLE, GOOD HEARTED, AND ABLE BODIED INDIVIDUAL TO ASSIST IN RANCH RELATED TASKS ON A PART TIME CONSISTENT BASIS.
We have been in "renovation mode" to improve the property and horsecare since early 2024, and looking for the right person to support our efforts through helping in various ways. (PT to start)
Tasks will be based on revolving ranch needs; primary tasks include:
-basic horse care
-mucking for horses stalled/ paddocked
-maintaining clean flow water troughs; connections , floaters etc.
-general cleanup
- assisting ranch foreman ranch related projects
- assisting stacking hay, pellets, sand , keeping feed containers filled
- assisting in other maintenance related such as fencework/ corals, barn, grounds
We are seeking a reliable person that can get to us no problem ; a good confident worker and experience interacting with differnt kinds of horses .Looking for a good natured, easy going, hard working person, that we can communicate well with.
This will be a part time position a few hours / days 3 -6 days a week.
Hours and times TBD; pretty flexible based on what works for you (and us too).

-irrigation/ farming/ pasture management (we also farm Timothy and alfalfa hay)
-mechanical experience for light ranch vehicle maintenance
- plumbing / electrical experience
-Tractor, excavator, backhoe, 4 heeler and/or dump truck experience
-Horse hauling
-Basic carpentry
-Fence repair
-Welding experience
- Colt starting/ animal husbandry/ equine medical care
