HORSE RANCH ON LARGE ACREAGE SEEKS A RELIABLE, GOOD HEARTED, AND ABLE BODIED INDIVIDUAL FOR HORECARE (FEEDING , STABLE CLEANING, GENERAL GROOMING) ON A PART TIME CONSISTENT BASIS.
We have been in "renovation mode" to improve the property and horsecare since early 2024, and looking for the right person to support the team with daily horsecare needs of 8 horses.
We are hiring :
Weekday AM shift (feeding , mucking and grooming/ handling) 6:30 - 7;30 AM start time
Weekday PM shifts (feeding only) 5:30-7 pm PM start time
Weekend shift AM and PM shifts
Tasks:
-Feeding per instructions for 8 horses
- Cleaning (mucking) stalls/ paddocks / run-ins
- wetting down arena and keeping barn alleys raked.
-maintaining water clean and full.
- assisting stocking hay, pellets , sand , keeping feed containers filled
-Groom some horses upon request
We are seeking a reliable person that can get to us no problem ; a good confident worker ; experience interacting with differnt kinds of horses, including foals and wild rescused stallions. Looking for a good natured, easy going, hard working person, that we can communicate well with.
This will be a part time position a few hours / days 3 -6 days a week.
Hours and times and pay TBD (salary or hourly TBD)
Hours are pretty flexible based on what works for you (and us too).

-Tractor, excavator, backhoe, 4 heeler and/or dump truck experience
-Horse hauling
-carpentry
-Welding experience
- animal husbandry/ equine medical care
