Farm Equipment Operator
Job description
Need alfalfa equipment operators. Need skilled operators of any of the following; Hesston Swathers, TwinStar G3-7 hay rakes, Hesston 4x4 balers and Stinger 6500 Stack Wagon.
Wages will depend on experience/ skill and equipment operated. We have about 2500 acres of premium alfalfa along with any custom jobs we may obtain.
We have John Deere tractors for the hay rakes, new Fendt 936 tractors for the hay balers and the Stinger 6500 is 2 years old. ( You will be trained on the Fendt tractor operations)
You will be responsible for greasing your equipment, fueling, keeping it clean and minor maintenance. Need problem solving skills and some mechanical aptitude.
There are no set hours, no set days off. We will work with you for requested days off. Hours vary due to weather and alfalfa conditions.
These positions will start around the first part of May. For the baler and stacker operator, may last until November depending on weather. Swathers and rakes will go until sometime in October.
Must be dependable, punctual, have reliable transportation to the Nampa Shop, converse in English language.
