We are currently looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team and provide one-on-one care for an individual with developmental disabilities. This part-time position includes Friday and Saturday day and night shifts and offers an opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life while building valuable experience in the healthcare and human services field.
As a DSP, you will assist with daily living activities, support community integration, and help promote independence and quality of life. You will be a vital member of a supportive team that is committed to providing respectful, person-centered care.
Pay Rate:
Starting at $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
Fridays: Day and night shifts
Saturdays: Day and night shifts
Responsibilities Include:
Provide direct care and companionship to an individual with developmental disabilities
Support with personal care, meal prep, hygiene, and medication reminders
Promote appropriate social behavior, language, and manners
Encourage participation in recreational and community-based activities
Coordinate with other team members to ensure quality support
Accurately complete and submit documentation for services provided
Serve as a positive role model and advocate for the client
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain—training can be provided)
Willingness to complete Medication Aide Certification (if required)
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
