Middle Creek Dental is hiring an experienced dental assistant to join our team. Dental Assistant needed to work 4 weekdays each week and at least 1 Saturday shift per month. Employees are paid a competitive wage plus time-and-a-half for overtime hours. Bonuses are paid monthly for new patient referrals and exceeding financial goals. Personal leave is encouraged, but must be scheduled in advance. Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE:
Can perform clinical dental procedures of Certified Dental Assistant.
Can take x-rays, including Panoramic and FMX (bitewings and periapicals)
Knows how to administer CPR and first aid
Understanding of cross contamination and how to prevent it
Knows & complies with OSHA regulations
SKILLS: Knows how to work with:
Autoclave
Model trimmer
X-ray machines (Digital Senors)
Panoramic X-ray
Sterilization equipment (Autoclave)
O2 and N2O gases
Intra Oral Camera
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be physically able to administer CPR
Able to wear personal protective equipment as required
May have to physically assist sedated patients after anesthesia
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: You must have at least 1 year of experience in the dental profession. Preference will be given to applicants with more experience. Most of our staff is bilingual, so your ability to speak Spanish is a plus!
