I am looking for a caregiver to help with an older man. He has up to 25 hrs/ week available for caregiving services. Client is usually available between 10 am-10pm 7 days a week so it would be easy to add this opportunity as a second source of income.
Duties include:
Grocery shopping
Pharmacy pick ups
Medication reminders ( but not administering or filling pill box)
Meal prep and cooking
Laundry
Mopping, sweeping, vaccuuming
Companionship
Safety advocacy
Assistance with body care when needed
He is fairly mobile but needs some assistance because he can't stand or walk too long. He also has poor eyesight and needs help making sure walk ways are clear and safe. He does most of his body care but needs some help with set up. Mainly he just needs a friend to provide moral support with day to day living.
If you are a kind hearted compassionate person with a good sense of humor this would be a great fit for you. Some past experience with caregiving is preferred but not necessary if it's the right fit.
Must be willing to work through an agency and pass a background check.
