The Assistant Manager position at EID is intended to create redundancy in the District in case of the Managers absence. This position would be expected to learn the day to day operation of EID, perform maintenance activities as needed and be responsible for Ride 3 on a daily basis. This position is expected to work well with employees and patrons, answer calls, and coordinate maintenance activities year-round as deemed necessary by the District Manager. This position will report directly to the District Manager. It is expected that this position be full time, salary, and on call from March through October. Salary amount will be determined on qualifications and overall fit.
This person must possess or be able to attain the following skills and talents:
-Equipment Experience such as operating Backhoe, Excavator, Dozer, Grader
-Good PR Skills
-Hard Working
-Reliable
-Class A CDL with Air Brakes
-Concrete Construction
-Irrigation Water Operations
-Pump Operations
-Operation of Campbell Scientific Automation
-Chemical Applicators License
-Aquatic and Terrestrial Weed Management
-Pipe Laying/Fitting
-Basic Mechanical Skills
-Computer Skills
