CAMP MANAGERS
Maintain a clean and neat appearance.

Train and direct all ESS associates, ensuring compliance with company and client safety
requirements.
Supervises associates to ensure the highest sanitary standards are maintained in all food
serving, food storage, and accommodation areas in accordance with company, client, and
governmental requirements.
Ensure staff compliance with all ESS and Compass Group operating policies and
procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
Contract compliance and ensure staff awareness of ESS’s contractual obligations.
Record and/or monitor staff hours of work on a daily basis to ensure compliance with
requirements and provide to payroll weekly.
Ensure all health and safety and food safety issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
When required conduct accident investigations complete necessary documentation.
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and crew change as required.
Assist ESS crews as needed to support the project, to include boosting morale of crew.
Assist in the design and development and implementation of menus.
Monitor compliance with budgets.
Administer the counting and recording of weekly and monthly inventories
Responsible to control food, labor, purchasing and inventory costs
Ensures that the Company’s policies and procedures for hygiene and food safety, quality
assurance, human resources and occupational health and safety are applied.
Ensure proper PPE is utilized at all times.
Ensures good relations with the establishment’s management and customers while
ensuring their complete satisfaction.
Maintains superior product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing
evaluations and investigating complaints. Initiates corrective action.
Inspects kitchen equipment and appliances for needed repairs and submits maintenance
request forms for equipment not functioning properly.
Manages purchasing with a focus on minimizing dollars invested in physical inventories,
complying with budgets, minimizing waste, and avoiding product shortages.
Oversees preparation of all foodstuffs according to the menu and number of persons to
be served, with a focus on quality, appearance, adequate production and stocking levels
in all serving areas and minimizing leftovers and product waste.
Assists in serving meals, remaining present at the serving line during meal periods to
receive customer comments and feedback.
Advise management of client requests for services outside the ESS contract Scope of
Work immediately.
Provide management with copies of any site-specific procedures that have been
developed in performance of duties.
Certain locations may require Lead Steward to perform all Utility Hand functions as
well.
All other duties as assigned.
COOKS
Preparation of high-quality food items according to standardized recipes or instructions in an
efficient manner in order to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
Serve meals or prepare for delivery at times, using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards
and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all food
items prepared.
Use established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area
worked during service periods.
Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and storing
or discarding excess food properly per safe food handling procedures
Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. All food and supply items are to be stored per
standards.
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
Assist in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers,
administrators, and Managers.
Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following correct
procedures at all times.
Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
HOUSEKEEPERS
Launders, folds, and sorts linens daily.
Ensures beds are properly made daily.
Ensure cleanliness and well replenished supply of all rooms and common areas daily,
including, but not limited to, guest/resident rooms, stairways, restrooms, lobbies, lounges,
hallways, etc.
Details afore mentioned areas frequently. Details including dusting, sweeping, polishing,
and/or scrubbing of walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, sills, door panels, floors,
ashtrays, etc.
Ensures cleanliness and placement of rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Segregates and removes trash and/or recyclable materials and places it in designated
containers every day. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned
areas when necessary.
Inventory stock to ensure adequate supply regularly.
Examines rooms, halls, lobbies, and other common areas to determine need for repairs
and/or replacement of furniture and/or equipment in order to communicate these
recommendations to maintenance.
Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements as well as SOPs when
completing these tasks.
Provides excellent customer service.
Ensures a safe workplace and a positive team atmosphere.
Carries out all activities in compliance with laws, regulations, company vision, values,
guiding principles, policies, and procedures.
Performs other functions and duties as assigned
UTILITY HANDS
Make and or fill coffee, juice, tea, and other available beverages.
Break down and clean steam table
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Stocks and sets up tables.
Refill all condiments and stock as needed
Sorts, counts, folds, marks, carries linens, makes beds.
Cleans lobbies, bedrooms, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, weight rooms and
stairways.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dusts furniture.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Washes pots, pans, and trays.
Washes worktables, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Obtains list of rooms that need to be cleaned.
Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
Maintain a clean and neat appearance.
Maintain good client and customer relations at project level.
Undergo job specific, and company safety training.
Performs duties to company and client safety requirements.
Ensure the highest sanitary standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility in
accordance with company, client, and governmental requirements.
Comply with all ESS operating policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
Assure contract compliance of ESS's contractual obligations for the project.
Continually review services with the objective of reducing cost and increasing
profitability without loss of standard
Ensure good order and maintenance of all equipment by immediately reporting any
deficiencies to supervisor.
Perform all duties in the safest possible manner and report all incidents and health
&safety concerns to the supervisor or manager.
Other duties may be assigned
Rotational Schedule of 2 - 4 weeks on and 1-2 weeks off. All employees are required to live onsite during their rotation.
Lodging and Meals are provided
Remote Jobsite experience preferred
