As the Senior Financial Analyst at Balsam Brands, you will support key financial planning and analysis activities that inform business strategy and performance tracking. You’ll contribute to routine and ad hoc analysis, modeling, and reporting to support functions across the business. Your work will support the development of forecasting models, financial dashboards, and key performance indicators that enable data-driven decision-making. Our ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to deepen their understanding of business operations through financial insights. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their functional expertise while learning how to connect financial performance to strategic outcomes. This full-time position reports to the VP of Finance & Accounting and is expected to work in a hybrid model in our Boise office, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in-office. What you’ll do:  Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and help build financial forecasts and budgets Analyze financial and operational data to support key business initiatives and decisions Maintain and update financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and variance analysis Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with clean, concise summaries of financial performance Assist in preparing reports and dashboards that track revenue, expenses, and profitability Identify trends and surface opportunities for greater efficiency or performance improvement Help ensure data integrity and accuracy across financial systems and reporting tools What you bring to the table:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, or a similar function Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills; experience with financial systems or BI tools is a plus Ability to interpret data and explain insights clearly to non-financial audiences Curiosity and a growth mindset, ready to dive into new problems and learn from feedback Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach to working across teams Interest in eCommerce, consumer products, or seasonal businesses a plus Demonstrated AI literacy, enabling effective understanding, interaction, and critical evaluation of AI technologies and applications across diverse business functions About Us: Balsam Brands is a global, omnichannel retailer with roots in holiday and home décor. Please note that placement within the posted salary range is based on several factors, including geographic location, experience, skills, alignment with role requirements and other job-related factors.
