We collaborate with a Worldwide Data Science Team to design and build innovative tools, models, and analytics to unlock business value from data insights. You will have the opportunity and expectation to continuously improve skills and explore new top tier technology and creatively deliver solutions to manufacturing operations to meet our best in class goals.Responsibilities:

Develop sophisticated modeling and algorithm development across a broad spectrum of problems to accelerate process and product technology solutions

Work with an international team in a collaborative manner to develop new data science solutions that improve quality, yield, reduce deviations, and more

Draw from a broad background of data science techniques to discover insightful patterns in semiconductor manufacturing data

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters or PhD or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, or equivalent

Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms

Experienced in modern Machine Learning libraries and in working with high dimensional, skewed and frequently changing datasets

Proficient in Python and/or R, in PySpark and/or SparkR, and in performing data extraction from variety of data sources (Teradata, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.)

Experience in Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, and HBase

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience and or knowledge in the semiconductor industry is preferred

Experience creating Semiconductor Design Flows and software preferred

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$136,000.00 - $284,500.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
