Job Title: Cabling Technician - L2Location : Boise IDDuration : 6+ MonthsPay Rate : $24/hr on W2 without benefitsRole Overview:1. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Assist in developing and maintaining network communications.Test and assess LAN/WAN systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.2. Design and Installation:Assemble and arrange materials and equipment for network cabling.Run, pull, stop, and splice copper and fiber optic cables (e.g., CAT5, CAT6, low voltage cables).3. Support and Communication:Provide test equipment for testing new and suspected faulty cable connections.Measure and replace identified faulty fiber cables.
