Employment Type:Full timeShift:12 Hour Night ShiftDescription:Saint Alphonsus Health System , Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers for 2025 , is looking for a Graduate Nurse to join our Neuro Surgical Trauma SDU team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho .This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center (https://www.saintalphonsus.org/location/saint-alphonsus-regional-medical-center) off I-184 and Curtis Rd.Schedule: NightsGraduate Nurse ProgramAt St. Alphonsus, all new graduate RNs participate in our required Nurse Residency Program designed to support their transition to practice. ​​ Our program aligns with our mission and values, providing structured support, mentorship, and skill development throughout the first year of practice. ​​​The residency includes key milestones , each intentionally spaced over 12 months to focus on onboarding, orientation, clinical skills, and specialty education . ​ ​Residents can expect to dedicate approximately 4 hours per month attending classes. Utilizing your skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center

Providing next level care for neurological patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment

Caring for post operative patients along with patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, seizures, strokes, and other neurological disorders

Delivering high-quality nursing care in our 17-bed SDU, utilizing advanced clinical skills to assess, stabilize, and monitor patients

Qualifications :

Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).

BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.
