In-house finance and collections representative (F/T or P/T)
Greetings from Oliver Finley Academy of Cosmetology
Who are we? We are a Nationally Accredited Cosmetology School here in Boise, Idaho (Idaho’s largest) and we’re looking to add another member to our Financial Aid team. As a Title IV, federally funded school, most of our students apply via FAFSA.
We offer financial aid to those who qualify and provide additional resources for alternate loan funding for tuition. As well, we have numerous students who require an in-house solution for their tuition needs.
In this position, you would meet with each of our new students looking to utilize in-house payment options to establish:
Their individual payment details
Payment timelines
Available options they may have during their repayment period
Track and report incoming payments
Maintain regular contact with students while they work through the repayment process
Provide ongoing support until accounts are satisfied
In the case of default, this position would facilitate our Collections procedure, a multi-step process that includes negotiations, payment tracking and when necessary, turning the unpaid debt over to the National Collection Agency we utilize for extreme cases.
