Maintenance Technician Skill II (Full-time)

As a Maintenance Technician Skill II the work you do to care for our home away from home will be felt by our guests and colleagues.  You will be an ambassador for our brand by taking care of the little things and the big things: ensuring guests' requests are being handled to their expectations, completing projects, performing preventative maintenance and responding to repair requests in a timely manner.Hourly Rate: $37.25What you will be doing:Perform routine repairs and maintenance on hotel facilities and equipmentUpdate records of repairs and tasks performedPerform maintenance requests as assignedInspect and provide preventive maintenance Update records of repairs and tasks performedInventory and requisition supplies and parts as neededChange A/C filters and clean fan coil units as directedPerform troubleshooting on HVAC/Refrigeration equipmentRespond to all emergency situations including fire alarms, bomb threats, disasters and power failures; notify the appropriate authoritiesEnsure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our resort exceeds expectationsOrganize time so all side work is completed according to shift demandPromote and enforce health and safety awareness as well as to have a complete understanding of the emergency proceduresFollow hotel and departmental policies, procedures and service standardsContribute to the improvement of the operation by contributing ideas, making suggestions and actively participate in departmental communication meetings
