- Program Manager builds acquisition strategies and lead program execution to satisfy requirements.
- Provide advice, opinions, alternatives, analyses, evaluations, processes to eliminate waste, standardizing best practices, reducing cycle times/cost of doing business, and/or recommendations to complement the Government's organic resources in accomplishing its mission.
- Responds quickly to stringent deadlines as required to provide reports, software files, briefings, and/or other documents to the customer depending on the tasking provided.
- Develop detailed technical assessments on various elements of space and ground system architecture.
- Makes decisions on behalf of the organization and act as the main point of contact and address all program issues with the Contracting Officer Representative. Provide continuous management oversight as well as coordination with the Contracting Officers Representative and stakeholders
- Ensure contractor compliance with DoD security programs, including staff security training.
- Responsible to oversee contract performance and manage assigned contractors.
- Prepare contract performance, progress, manpower and cost reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree, or minimum years of Relevant Experience 9+ years within the last 15
- Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or other Engineering discipline.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development.
- Experience with a business unit rated CMMI level III for development.
- Must possess and maintain an IT-I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and IAT-II/IAM-II certifications IAW DoD 8570.01-M
- Experience with following a mature DoD System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a program with extensive documentation deliverables.
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework, the experience with DoD Assessment and Authorization process for a DoD Information System.
- Experience with Cyberspace Workforce Management under DoD Directive 8140.01
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
- Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems.
- Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
