The steward is responsible for the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment and tools. They are also responsible for washing dishes, kitchen vessels, cleaning floors and equipment etc.What you will be doing:Provide the front of house staff with all their service equipment needs.Ensure that all equipment provided to the front of house staff are clean and in compliance with quality standardsSupport the culinary staff by maintaining their lines with the required dishware for each meal periodTo support the banquet staff with all their equipment and culinary needs before and during each banquet event.Clean and maintain all equipment managed by the Stewarding department by ensuring the safe usageTransportation of all banquet food requirements to the location of event.Report to Steward Supervisor when any equipment/machinery is damaged, faulty or misusedKeep work area clean, tidy and dry at all times
