Compassionate care for all patients is a must. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients during their care. Duties will include but are not limited to:
Lab sample collection and processing
Medication preparation and administration
Radiology and diagnostics
Venipuncture and catheter placement
Surgical preparation and assisting
Dentistry
Computer data entry and maintaining electronic medical records
Presenting patient History and signalment to our doctors
Cleaning and caring for hospitalized patients
Fear Free Patient handling and restraint for peer Veterinary Assistants, Registered Technicians and Doctors
Filling prescriptions
Some phone, client e-mails, and fax management
Anesthesia Experience
Dentistry Experience
Catheter placement
Urgent Care Experience
