▪ Drive vehicle from community to social, medical, and other destinations
according to assigned schedule.
▪ Schedule destinations of the bus or other vehicles as directed by the Engage
Life Coordinator or other members of the Management Team.
▪ Assist residents into and out of the vehicle in a safe manner.
▪ Secure passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize during trip.
▪ Practice safe driving techniques and maintain a safe driving record according to
company guidelines.
▪ Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories and report and
coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs.
▪ Establish and monitor daily and weekly trip inspection and preventative
maintenance programs and maintain records regarding the maintenance of all
vehicles.
▪ Ensure any charges are submitted to the business office daily for any
community travel expenses.
▪ Handle any emergency situations and communicate to community
management.
▪ Report any potentially unsafe conditions.
▪ May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
