Eskimo Candy is hiring for a full time delivery driver position that also requires working in our freezer and warehouse. You must be 21 years old to drive our delivery trucks. We are a FAMILY run business providing a fun, healthy work atmosphere where we care about our employees. The starting pay is between $21.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience. There will be a $1.00 per hour raise once you pass probation (usually about 3 months) and incentives to increase your wage based on performance. Most employees receive a $1 hour raise every 9 months to a year. Currently we are offering a hiring bonus with more details provided at the time of interview. We are open Monday - Friday and closed on all weekends and major holidays
The starting time for this job is generally between 6:30 - 7:30 am, and finishes around 4:00 pm (except Thursdays which finish around 6 pm). The first hour of the day consists of being in our freezer and grabbing orders that are going out that day. After that, the trucks will be loaded in the warehouse and the drivers sent on the road to deliver the products. The average delivery schedule is around 25-35 stops per day depending on what time of the year it is. The products are all delivered by a hand truck and stacked in the freezer or designated area for the customer. We carry the finest quality seafood and meats, and pride ourselves in taking care of our customers needs on a daily basis!

QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid driver's license required
Must provide Hawaii driver history abstract
No major traffic violations
Must be at least 21 years old
Must pass criminal back ground check
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs
