Kaneohe Autocare is automotive repair shop looking for a Safety Check Inspector/Office Assistant to join our team! We prefer someone who has interest in the automotive field, but it is not required. The position would be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a hour lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Benefits include paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid health insurance, paid holidays, employee discount, and free lunch on Fridays. We are looking for immediate occupancy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform safety check inspections (must have license).
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and mechanic team
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple individuals
- Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience as a office assistant is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
