Hourly: $17.50 - $25.50 DOE plus Night Shift Premium of $1.50 per hour

Job Description
This position is responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the manufacturing facilities and equipment in accordance with all Company, State and Federal requirements. This position's work schedule is a night shift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducts the cleaning and sanitizing of production, packaging, storage areas and production equipment including CIP (Clean In Place) daily.
Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with Company SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and Company safety policies and procedures, and any other established requirements as necessary.
Confers with the Production Department to schedule sanitizing and cleaning assignments, responding to reports of sanitation problems and monitor sanitation performance as needed to verify guidelines and procedures.
Utilize sanitation checklists, charts, and graphs verifying activities are within required specifications. Manage time effectively to maintain facility audit readiness.
Responsible for the effective utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Adjust the daily work schedule as needed to meet sanitation requirements.
Support management system efforts such as document control, audits, records, and continual improvement.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
2 years' experience in a production position strongly preferred
Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, government regulations and procedure manuals.
Ability to write reports and correspondence.
Ability to make calculations such as proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
Ability to carry out oral and/or written instructions.
Physical Demands
Ability to squat and bend over at the waist.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time in temperature extremes on a daily basis up to 12 hours.
