KOKUA ROOFING IS HIRING FOR TEMPORARY WORK IN KIHEI AND LAHAINA FOR THE MONTHS OF APRIL AND MAY 2024

The Hawai‘i Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) advises Maui residents to exercise caution when rebuilding and recommends the use of licensed contractors.

Kokua Roofing is a licensed and insured, full-service roofing contractor in the state of Hawaii. We do not cold-call or go door-to-door. We are based on the Big Island and have reroofed many homes throughout the state. Reach out for a free quote.

We are looking for experienced roofers and laborers for 2 projects happening in the months of April and May. You will be required to have your own transportation and be able to start work at 7:30am. You will have 2 breaks, and a 1hr lunch that you will provide yourself. You will usually be off around 4:30pm. There will be 40 hours a week. Work on Saturday is considered and will be communicated as we get closer to the start of work.

Helpers (without roofing experience) will start at $20/hour, and if you do, we will discuss. Respond to this email or to the one on the image for an application.

A comprehensive list of licensed contractors in the state and additional consumer tips and resources are available on the Licensed Contractor website at http://licensedcontractor.hawaii.gov.

The public can verify a contractor's license by visiting www.businesscheck.hawaii.gov.

Reasons to Hire a Licensed Contractor:

Licensed contractors carry worker's compensation and liability insurance, providing protection for homeowners against injuries or damage during the project.

Key Considerations for Homeowners:

Penalties for Unlicensed Activity: Engaging in unlicensed contracting, especially for projects exceeding the defined limits, carries serious consequences for contractors. Homeowners are strongly advised to be cautious and to consider hiring a licensed professional regardless of the project's cost.
